Countertop Installation
Learn what to expect before, during and after your professional countertop installation from the experts at Thornton Flooring.
Before your professional countertop installation, remove appliances, existing cooktop, lower unit, and sink. Remove existing countertops if able, all existing surfaces will not be removed unless agreed upon in advance in the signed Purchase Agreement. Have new appliances on-site to ensure proper fit during installation. Sink must be on-site on day to install with the countertop. Faucets will not be installed but should be available day of install to ensure holes are drilled correctly. Farmhouse sinks will need to be installed in the cabinet prior to templating.
On the day of your installation, remove all items from your sink cabinet, top drawers from cabinets and clear a walkway to the work area. Please be present for installation.
Upon completion of countertop install and sink mounting, please wait 24 hours to allow silicone to cure prior to reconnecting plumbing.
