Sheet vinyl is available in large, wide rolls that are six to twelve feet wide. It is easy to install and available for purchase by the linear yard. It’s installed using adhesive and does not add much thickness over the subfloor.
A synthetic floor-covering product of PVC (polyvinyl chloride), it is made of resins, some solvents, stabilizers, and pigments. The material’s top coat of UV-cured urethane makes it resistant to water damage, scratches, scuffs, and stains.
